Configuring internal workspace settings

Updated over 6 months ago

Overview

Within the internal tab in a workspace, you can adjust the following workspace settings:

  • Workspace name

  • Workspace type

  • Owners

  • Add custom code

  • Disable/enable advanced features (key dates, messages, stages)

In the guide below, you'll learn the value of each of these settings and how to configure them.

Navigating to Workspace Settings

Step 1: Navigate to and click into the desired workspace.

Step 2: Click Settings on the left hand side, while on the internal tab.

Step 3: Adjust any settings!

Changing the Name of a Workspace

The name of a workspace is shared externally in the Shared view, and there may be times when it needs to be updated. You can update that name here (and make sure to click Done to save)!

Designating a Workspace Type

We highly recommend selecting a type (or multiple) for a space. This is helpful because you can customize your filtered views and look at Dock reporting based on these workspace types (and start tracking things like active implementations and implementation length).

Owners

Here you can change or add additional owners of a workspace.

Advanced Settings

Add in custom code to the workspace, such as a support widget. Learn more here!

Advanced Features

To turn on or off the following features, click on the appropriate checkbox:

  • Key Dates (start, actual end, and target end date for an account). This is internal facing only, but can be linked to project plans with relative due dates. It also can help with implementation reporting.

  • Messages (turn on/off comments and messaging in the Shared view).

  • Stage. This is internal facing but can help with filtered reporting views.
