Overview
Integrating Dock with Gong enables your team to do two things— 1) Easily pull in call recordings directly to workspaces so you can quickly share them with clients, and 2) Push external activity from workspaces to the account in Gong. We understand that for many teams Gong can also be a key source of truth for prospect/client engagement. By partnering the two systems, you can view all of that impactful data in one spot!
Turning On the Integration
The first step is to turn on the integration as a whole. To do so, follow the steps below.
Step 1: Navigate to your Settings (bottom left of the home screen) > Integrations (under Data Management) > Gong.
Step 2: Click the Turn on Integration button on the top right.
Step 3: Follow the steps to Allow the integration.
Once you allow, both the Gong Video and Gong Events toggles will be turned on automatically.
Gong Video
By toggling on Gong Video, you can easily embed recordings in Dock Workspaces without needing to paste in the link itself.
When adding a section of content to a workspace, you will be able to select Gong as an embed type and either paste a link or change the timeframe to see all recordings listed to select from.
Gong Events
Enabling the Gong Events toggle allows you to push all client activity from Dock to Gong. This includes any external interactions and views, as well as any project plan activity (internal or external).
When enabled, if you navigate to the account in Gong, you will see Dock activity in the timeline:
