The following article describes how to use Gong's webhook and automation rules to automatically pull in Gong calls to Dock.
How it works
Gong calls will get automatically saved to the associated account in Dock.
Once these calls are saved to the account record, the calls will show up in a Saved Meetings tab (coming soon) in workspaces when embedding a Gong call or using a Gong call in an AI document.
(note: this example shows Zoom, but it works the same for Gong)
The calls can also be used in Dock's enablement agent to learn about specific customer relationships, create recommendations, and more.
How to Setup
In Dock, copy the webhook url from the Gong integration page
2. In Gong, go to the automation rules in settings.
3. Create rule and then add in the webhook url as the destination for the data
Once you save, any new calls will get saved to Dock.
Important Call Outs
This integration only works for calls moving forward. Only calls after the integration has been setup will get saved to the account record.
Calls only get saved to Dock if there's an existing account in Dock with a corresponding Salesforce or HubSpot ID. If the account is not connected to a CRM, then Dock will try to do a match based on an email to domain match. If the account is not in Dock, then the call will not get saved to Dock.
