How to leverage Dock activity as criteria for lead scoring

Introduction

Dock activity can be pulled in as lead scoring criteria within Hubspot. In the article below, we'll guide you through how to configure this.

Please note: In Hubspot, lead scoring is automatically created as a contact property as "HubSpot Score."

Before continuing, double check that you've integrated Duck and Hubspot!


Set-up Steps

Step 1: Within Hubspot, go to your settings.

Step 2: Go to the Contact property.

Step 3: Search for Hubspot score.

Step 4: Click Add criteria for either positive or negative scores;

Scroll down until you see the Dock options in the lead score system

Step 5: Choose the Dock property you want to score against.

Step 6: Setup filters and assign score.

How to think about scoring and Dock

For activities like Clicks, Downloads, Interactions and Views, we recommend using the "Occurred" filter as a baseline.

From there, you can add more refinement around the link name or file name. Based on what they are interacting with, you might want to have higher or lower scores.

For MAP activity, you can also refine by "Occurred", but then also refine by task name to give certain tasks more weight than others.
