Auto-Update the HubSpot Deal Amount After Dock Edits the Line Items

How to create a workflow in HubSpot to automatically update the deal amount

Updated over a year ago

Overview

Once an order form is sent for signature, Dock will push information to the line items on the deal record in HubSpot. HubSpot calculates the deal amount based on new line items and may not take into consideration any discounted pricing you've added to the order form. To compensate for this, we recommend you create a workflow in HubSpot to automatically update the deal amount and ensure it's up-to-date!

If you haven't yet enabled the line-item sync between Dock <> HubSpot, check out this article!

Workflow Configuration Steps

Step 1: Within Hubspot, navigate to Automation > Workflows

Step 2: Select Create Workflow > From scratch

Step 3: Select Deal-based workflow > Blank workflow, then hit Next!

Step 4: Edit the name of the workflow by clicking on the pencil in the top nav bar

An example name could be "Dock Deal TCV to HubSpot Deal Amount"
