Overview
Dock's Slack integration can be used in two different ways:
For internal notifications for all workspaces. You can push Dock notifications into internal channels. This is a great way to get real-time updates & insights into the progress of all sales deals, customer onboarding and more.
To push individual workspace notifications to Slack Channels. Notifications for a Workspace can be pushed to a specific Slack channel.
This integration above is designed to work with Slack Connect and shared channels with customers/prospects. The updates from the Dock workspace (comments and mutual plan changes) will be pushed to the Slack channel, and users will be able to view changes, leave comments and quickly access Dock workspaces.
Turning on the Slack Integration
Step 1: From the home screen, click Settings on the lefthand nav bar.
Step 2: Under Company > select Integrations.
Step 3: Click on Slack to configure.
Step 4: You'll be prompted to give access to Dock's app for Slack. Click Allow!
Step 5: Now, go to Slack's App Directory and install Dock's App. Here's a link to our directory page.
Once you've done that, you're all set!
