AI Chat in Playbooks

Use AI Chat to answer your team's questions directly in playbooks

Overview

Dock AI chat allows you to use AI to answer your team's questions when they are in a playbook.


Admin Configuration

AI Chat is configured on each playbook so that it's admin controlled.

Step 1: Navigate to the playbook in question

Click on the Manage button on the top right to review all playbooks and navigate from there.

Step 2: On the Internal tab > Click the AI Chat tab

Step 3: Toggle on to enable the AI chat

Step 4: Name your chat assistant and select an icon

Keep in mind this is what your team will see!

Step 5: Provide some overall instructions to the bot.

These instructions won't be visible to the rep, but a clear prompt can help set the tone for how it will respond.

Step 6: Set a welcome message to greet the team

Sources

Sources are important because it dictates what info the assistant is able to reference when it responds!

Current playbook content

The default source is the current playbook. It will only answer questions about content that is shown in the space (hidden content is out of scope).

Internal agents

You can also include internal agents that reference hidden sources to answer a wider scope of team questions.

Note: Action based agents (i.e. creating workspace, managing/updating library, etc.) will not work within the playbook AI chat.

Previewing the Chat

Click the preview button to test out the chat and confirm it's set how you'd like!

Doing so pulls up the side panel testing environment:
