Dock's AI Slides creates customer presentations that match your brand.
The power of AI slides is building personalized presentations based on sources like a customer call or product usage data.
Slide Brand Themes
One important step to getting started with AI slides is setting up your brand theme. This is how we can make sure that the slides match your existing presentation brand.
For fonts, colors and logos, Slides will pull from your overall brand theme.
For backgrounds, go to the Brand tab on the Slides page. From this tab, you have the option to choose colored backgrounds, upload an image, or import deck.
Import from deck
When importing from deck, Dock will extract the backgrounds of existing presentations and turn into an image we can use as a slide background.
Importing from existing decks will work best if you upload a blank slide presentation with no footers. The presentation just needs to feature your blank slides with the relevant background images/colors.
How AI Slides Works

AI Slides is based around layouts. Dock has a ton of layouts that we'll generate slides based from. These layouts will update based on your brand theme.

Creating slides
As you prompt the slides (or add in more context like a customer call), Dock will generate the slides based on the layout you've selected.
Editing slides
You have a couple options when making edits to slides:
1) Ask AI from the side panel (example above).
2) Select a specific area of the slide and use the Ask AI quick action.
3. Edit the text in-line
All text on the slide can be manually edited
Keep in mind
AI slides operate differently than Powerpoint or Google slides.
Layouts are pre-set and can be slightly adjusted (i.e. adding a new box, shifting up and down), but you don't have a full drag/drop editor.
If you get stuck, you can always upload a slide created elsewhere into your customer presentation.
Designing Slides
The slide design is set by the brand theme. That being said, you can always adjust the slide design by asking AI or through the design dropdown:
From here, you have a bunch of design styles (based on your brand) for different aspects of the slides. You can adjust for all slides or a specific slide.
Templates & AI Slides
When creating templates with AI slides, you have two options:
Add AI slides into existing slide template
Create AI slide template
Adding AI Slides into existing Slide template
In this scenario, you already have an existing slide template. For example, an existing pitch deck that the Marketing team created, but there's a couple slides that you want the sales team to personalize for the customer.
Within any slide template, you have the ability to add an AI slide. This for this couple slides that you want personalized (i.e. executive summary or pricing slide).
Now when this template gets turned into a presentation, the AI slide can get personalized based on a customer data source and the rest of the deck will use the marketing approved slides.

AI slide templates are combination of templated slide layouts that can be personalized for each customer.
Go Slides > Templates > Create template
Select AI template
3. Click Add AI slides
4. Select layouts for AI slides
5. Now you have a template that includes all your template slides. You can edit these in-line (or with AI) to give your team a starting point
By clicking +Add Slides, you can add in more AI slide templates or upload existing slides from existing slide decks.
