Settings & Data Sources for Dock AI

Updated today

What is Dock AI?

Dock AI answers enablement questions, creates client-facing documents, and saves your team time through two features:

  • AI Assistant: enablement agent who answers questions from sales and success teams about your product, competitors, specific deals, and more.

  • AI Documents: create personalized documents like business cases, customer success plans, customer FAQ recaps, sales pilot overviews, deal review plans, and more.

Dock uses CRM, customer meetings, sales collateral, and deal room data to power these. The more sources you connect, the more relevant and reliable Dock AI will be.

Note: these features are only available on our Premium and Enterprise plans.

Dock AI Settings

Dock AI Settings allow admins to turn different data sources off/on and also upload additional sources (email & business case).

To set this up:

Step 1: navigate to Ask Dock AI in the lefthand side nav bar

Step 2: click Settings in the top right corner.

Step 3: enable or disable any data source(s).

Dock AI Additional Sources

To train Dock AI to create business cases or email playbooks that follow your preferred templates or formatting, you can upload text or files to the Business Case and Email Playbook Additional Sources section.

Business Cases

You can add an example business case that you've used with another customer.

Email Playbooks

Add example email templates that you send to customers.

Dock AI & Notion

Dock offers an MCP integration with Notion that allows Dock to search the contents of Notion when using Dock AI.

To set this up

Step 1: in Dock, navigate to Settings > Integrations > Notion

Step 2: connect to Notion MCP

Step 3: in Notion, select the pages you want accessible to Dock

This functionality works best when you select “Notion” as a data source when using Dock AI.
