Overview
AI Documents are made up of a series of prompts that tell AI:
What type of document you're trying to create
Define the output for each section of the document
When these documents are pulled into customer workspaces, then the end user can attach a specific source (i.e. customer call) that will personalize the content to that particular customer.
Note: Dock will automatically add in context from the user account and associated CRM records to improve the quality of the output.
Getting Started
To create an AI Document template, go to Templates > New Templates > AI Documents
Document Overview
The first step is to outline what kind of document you're looking to create and provide some general background information.
1. Choose Name and Icon
Choose from our emoji and icon library. Select colors that fit your brand.
2. Provide the overall instructions for the document

4. Determine tone of voice (optional)

Document Sections
Once you've determined the overall document purpose, now it's time to write the prompts for each of the sections.
β
For each section, you'll provide:
Section Name: Title of the section
Output type: Style of section - list, table, text, etc.
Instructions: Prompt that determines the content of the section.
Here's an example of a section:
Testing
When building your document templates, we recommend that you test the output, so you can refine your prompts accordingly. On the right side of the screen, you'll see the ability to select different sources for the AI documents.
When you're ready to test, just add your test source and click "run test."
After the test runs, you'll see the content that Dock AI creates based on the prompts and given source.
To refine the output, you have two different options:
Refine the instructions
Change the output type
By running tests and updating prompts, you can iterate your way towards an output that you're happy with.
Publishing
When you're done testing the output, click "Publish changes."
When published this AI document template will now show up in the AI panel, when creating templates and workspaces in Dock.
Make sure you read the instructions on how to use Dock AI Documents as a rep to understand what happens next.
