Overview
Real-time collaboration allows you (and your customers) to edit text in Dock just like Google Docs. Within a workspace, you can turn on collaboration mode for a section to unlock it and give clients the power to edit it themselves.
This can be helpful to align on success plans, build a business case, or create proof of concepts.
In the guide below, we'll show you how to enable this feature.
Enabling Collaboration for a Section
Step 1: Navigate to the workspace in question. From the home screen, click into the desired workspace and navigate to the Editor view.
Step 2: Navigate to the desired section within the workspace and click on it, or create a new section from scratch.
Step 3: Click on the ellipsis (...) to the right of the title.
Step 4: From the dropdown, click Turn on collaboration.
By enabling collaboration for a section, any edits that are made will push to the "Shared" view in real time. You will not need to explicitly publish them.
Clients will be able to edit the content of that section in real time and their updates will save automatically!
