Overview
The Dock Chrome extension makes your content, workspaces, and AI assistant just one click away so it's accessible anywhere else you work. Instead of switching tabs to find an asset or start a workspace, you can search, share, and create right from your browser toolbar. This article covers how to install the extension and what you can do with it once it's set up.
Downloading the Extension
Step 1: Go to the Dock Chrome extension page in the Chrome Web Store.
Step 2: Click Click here to download! (or Add to Chrome, depending on where you're installing from).
Step 3: Once installed, click the Dock icon in your Chrome toolbar and log in with your Dock account.
Note: you'll need an active Dock account to use the extension. If you don't have one yet, contact your admin.
What You Can Do with the Extension
Once you're logged in, the extension opens in a panel with three tabs: AI, Library, and Workspaces.
AI
Use the AI tab to access Dock's AI assistant for tasks like answering product questions, drafting emails, and summarizing calls.
Library
Use the Library tab to find and share assets without leaving your current page:
Use the Search library field to find a file by name or tag
Sort your Files by Most viewed or most shared
Copy an asset's share link directly from the list
đĄ This makes it easy to grab a link to an asset and send it to a customer while you're already in Gmail or your CRM.
Workspaces
Use the Workspaces tab to create a new client workspace from a template or pull up the link to an existing one without opening a new tab.
