Editor vs. Client View
Dock spaces have two sides - the Editor and Client View.
The Editor is where you build the Space. After you click "Create Space," you'll be dropped into the Editor to start building.
The Editor has robust functionality to help you build custom spaces for your client. Check out other articles in the Creating Spaces collection to understand what's possible within the Editor.
The Client View is what the client sees on the shared link. The shared link is only updated when you click "Publish and share" and then "Publish Changes." When you make changes in the editor, the changes only show up on the client view when you publish.
The Client View is a controlled experience with limited functionality for the client. The client is able to access resources, download files, interact with embeds/links, leave comments and emoji react. Clients do not have access to change the space via the Editor.
